There is a run-off December 4 for Secretary of State in Georgia! I’m going to vote for the Democrat. Sec State is in charge of elections as we learned from Kemp. Would really like to see a Democrat in that office to get rid of the Jim Crow voter suppression that Kemp did so well that it got him the governor’s mansion.
Plus, this guy favors Ranked Voting. Still not sure whether it’s a good thing or a bad thing. It would end run-offs. I bet run-offs have record low voter turnout which gives a small number of hardcore dueshe bags out sized power. I think Ranked Voting would give people more of an option to vote for Independents, but also have the back-up plan of voting for a good Dem if the race is too close.
